SUMMER COLLECTION 2024
a message from the creator,
ribbons and bows are for all ages!

i believe there’s an inner child in all of us that wants to be healed in some sort of way. for most, this shows when we fall in love. we tend to feel safe and comforted with the ones who give us a warm embrace, offer their support when you can’t really explain why you’re crying, or even share the excitement over a simple joy - we find happiness!

this necklace sprouted from the idea of bows and ribbons being a timeless accessory. i used to wear bows and ribbons all the time as a kid, and it seems that they returned as a trend. then i started to see how we all have our childlike tendencies; for example, typing in all lowercase, silly little jokes about the simplest things, and just constantly wondering. this mini launch is dedicated to everyone’s inner child - that i hope everyone can find the same childlike wonder and joy through someone they love, or within themselves. more importantly, to never give up on it - let your childlike wonder live!
no matter how much older we grow, there will always be a kid within us that just wants to be loved!

LATE FALL/WINTER COLLECTION 2023
a message from the creator,
There are things in life that we’ll always know remain true:
the earth is currently rotating around the sun, the day will eventually turn into night, seconds have just gone by, and we’re all getting a little older. Now unless something extraterrestrial, maybe a higher being you believe in, or another Big Bang theory happens before this collection comes out and alters the universe, we know that these are facts.
What we know that isn’t so permanent are things like what you’ll be doing a year from now, whether you become the richest human alive tomorrow, or even if your favorite color will still be your favorite color tomorrow.
There’s a lot we don’t know for sure which is what inspired this release.

This collection is about exploring you. Not to be fearless, but to be brave. Not to be unafraid, but to be courageous.
Dive into the unknown and embrace what your mind is craving. Maybe you’ll end up across the country, meet a new friend,
or maybe you’ll end up in a position you didn’t expect.
Whatever it may be, let it be a new phase in your life.
You choose who or what is timeless in your life, but don’t avoid the change approaching you.
Embrace it, and welcome it into this era of you. It may or may not be around for much longer until the next phase after that.

SUMMER COLLECTION 2023
a message from the creator,
I’ve just entered my 20s and never found myself in those cliché movie scenes: the ones where they hold hands, share a drink with two straws, and enjoy the presence of the other. I’m still binging K-dramas and waking up with puffy eyes, watching rom coms, and wishing for those “unintentional” moments to happen to me. Don’t worry, I’m definitely not head over heels actively searching for this kind of love; but I discovered a new kind of love. I like to keep myself busy with my hobbies, passions, academics, and other self-fulfilling events I can accomplish. It sort of came to the point of burnout, not actively being present in my social life, and a “workaholic” mindset. The stress had more control over me than I did.
In the midst of investing in myself, I exhausted myself. I kept anticipating the next thing on my to-do list that i didn’t realize life was happening right in front of me.

I finally got myself to watch Kiki’s Delivery Service after people said I would relate to it, and low and behold, I did. I wanted to use this quote from this Studio Ghibli movie because I learned that sometimes you just need to enjoy existing. I love going to coffee shops and having casual to deep conversations with my friends there because it feels like time stops. Everyone there is in their own little world. I can people watch, hear small conversations, smell the freshly brewed coffee, taste the bittersweet latte, be present, and fall in love with life all over again. I needed to remember what inspires me to keep going. We tend to take the small moments for granted, which makes each day lose its magic (just like Kiki).

This is a love letter to the hopeless romantics who dream of finding “the one.” I hope you find the type of love that makes life brighter – a friendship, a partner, the sunrise, a sweet dessert, or even a cup of coffee. you deserve to see life through rose-colored glasses. Enjoy life with an open heart. Listen with an open mind. Remind yourself why you’re passionate. Be open to all the possibilities. Life is too short to keep anticipating the next, so allow yourself to fall in love with the now.

LATE FALL/WINTER COLLECTION 2022
a message from the creator,
a reoccurring theme that ends up in most of our lives is the future: where do we plan to go after college? what do you wanna be when you grow up? where do you want to settle? have you started yet? while it is important to think about these questions, they can be quite pressuring. we always get asked about what we will do tomorrow, 5 years, or 10 years from now, but what happened to 'now'?
i am probably not the best person to speak on this because i put a lot of pressure on myself to grow up faster or to act more mature, but i have to constantly remind myself that i am only 19.
i turn 20 in the next year and i will no longer be a teenager.
So many adults will rush kids, teenagers, and young adults to make something out of their life-- and
it's promised if you set your goals and priorities; however,
you have to admit that you're only a kid once in your life and that's the best time to live.
This collection is based on embracing your youth- living in the present.
doing what you want to do in the moment and listening to your instinct to do what makes you happy.

EMOTION
SUMMER COLLECTION 2022
a message from the creator,
The Emotion Summer Collection is inspired by all the feelings I experienced throughout my first year of college.
I gained so many new memories, friends, and life lessons that I wished everyone could know as well.
The year taught me that you shouldn't be afraid to face your emotions.
Whether it was the happiest, scariest, or saddest moments in life, I learned to take it all in.
I was not very expressive during high school nor enjoyed sharing my thoughts too much. With all the new people I've met this past year, I learned that vulnerability and acceptance brought me closer to the friends I have today. The bright color palette of this collection is to show that you shouldn't be afraid to put yourself out there. The introduction of the MM.Co collection is to highlight pride in identity. I took my favorite products from my shop and continued my favorite themes because I truly embraced my small business this year. Ihope that you can all learn to truly embrace your identity in what you love and believe, without fear of what everyone thinks. I hope you each find a community that supports you fully, and if not, you always have this community from matchamango.co <3
